The Highbury Taekwon-Do Impact Club teaches ITF-style Taekwon-Do and runs classes for students of all martial arts experience and abilities. There is no joining fee!
If you're already a Taekwon-do practitioner and have recently moved to the area, or are a complete beginner, come along and have a free trial lesson. You must register first by going to the Register page.
Classes are taught by Nick Thatcher, black belt (3rd Dan), former England Open champion and has five years teaching experience.
When:
Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm (5-16 year olds)
Term dates:
Autumn Term 2011: 8th September to 8th December
Spring Term 2012: 5th January to 29th March
note: there is no break for half-term.
Cost: £70 per student per term*
Term costs include a 15% discount (25% in Autumn term) and the licence fee. For family discounts and concessions, see below.
Preferred payment is via Paypal (account or credit card) on the Payments page of this site. Payment by cheque payable to "Nardizzi's Taekwon-do Schools."
* Discounts given for 2nd family member: 10%; 3rd: 20%; 4th: 30% etc..
* 10% discount for full-time students and families receiving income support, housing benefit or council tax benefit.
Licence:
Every student must pay an annual license fee; from 2010, this fee is included in the regular term fees. The license provides the student with:
- membership to the International Taekwon-do Federation (ITF)
- a complete Taekwon-do booklet explaining all parts of the syllabus and techniques to black belt.
- Public Liability insurance for ages 4 upwards.
