The Highbury Taekwon-Do Impact Club teaches ITF-style Taekwon-Do and runs classes for all ages and abilities. There is no joining fee!

If you're already a Taekwon-do practitioner and have recently moved to the area, or are a complete beginner, come along and have a free taster lesson. You must register first by going to the Register page.

 

Classes are taught by Nick Thatcher, black belt (3rd Dan), former England Open champion and has four years teaching experience.

 

When:

Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm (5-16 year olds)

Thursdays 7:30-9pm (Adults)

 

Term dates:

Summer Term : 15th April to 22nd July (15 weeks)

Autumn Term: 2nd September to 9th December (15 weeks)

 

Cost:

Lessons cost £8 for 5-16 year olds (£7 from Autumn term) and £9 for adults. Term costs include a 15% discount and the licence fee.

 

Autumn Term : £89 (5-16y); £115 (adults)*

* Discounts given for 2nd family member: 10%; 3rd: 20%; 4th: 30% etc..

 

Licence:

Every student must pay an annual license fee; from 2010, this fee is included in the regular term fees. The license provides the student with:

- membership to the International Taekwon-do Federation (ITF)

- a complete Taekwon-do booklet explaining all parts of the syllabus and techniques to black belt.

- Public Liability insurance for ages 4 upwards.

Parking:

On-street parking around the centre is free from 6:30pm on Thursdays. There are currently no Arsenal matches scheduled on a training day in the 2009-2010 football season.
