Taekwon-Do Suit (Dobok)

Beginners may wear comfortable, loose gym clothes. Taekwon-Do suits (dobok), cost £35 and can be obtained from your instructor. These are high-quality and durable suits with embroidered design on the back.

Sparring Equipment

When the student has reached yellow belt, they can start sparring under controlled conditions. Note that whilst there is no contact for the 5-16 year old age group, protective equipment is essential to ensure injury-free sparring and for all competitions.

 

A sparring kit comprising gloves, foot pads, shin guards and a gum shield costs:

£85 for boys (inc. headguard and groin guard)

£75 for girls (inc. headguard)

£75 for adult male (inc. groin guard)

£65 for adult female
